In 1995, At the request of the Higher Secondary Board, Sano Thimi, Sister Eugenia pioneered the Higher Secondary Section of St. Mary’s to give the students an opportunity to continue their studies after their tenth class in the same environment where they felt at home. Thus plus 2 section was established and there were 65 students in the first batch.

Every year about 110 students graduate from three different faculties, Science, Commerce and Humanities. The examinations are conducted by the Higher Secondary Board of Education, Sano Thimi.

The Drama Club and Literary Club organized by the students bring out the best in them. Every year the Drama Club organizes One-Act Play festival and the Literary Club, various Contests and publishes the official Newsletter MARIAN’S ECHO thrice a year.

Apart from a value based education, a homely atmosphere and excellent opportunities are provided to develop their personality.
